Occasionally there is an “International Daily” advertising insert resembling a newspaper in the Los Angeles Times which I think is some sort of PR initiative by International Daily News which is a very pro-mainland Chinese-language newspaper in Southern California. I unironically love when it’s in there because all of the front page news is like “A beautiful stork was spotted in Guangzhou. Onlookers pleased”. I wish that was the big news every day
