How much of the Elden ring DLC backlash is guys malding that they are being hazed by the game like new players again and their unearned sense of superiority for knowing a skeleton pushes a boulder down a flight of stairs at a certain part of the level no longer applies

basically all of it lmao. the game continues to give you all the tools you would need to handle things and moreso, especially with the scadutree blessing system (and even more especially with the part of it that buffs spirit ashes)
the only thing i won't defend are the visuals on the last boss because woof. fight itself is otherwise fine though
Real talk: it is exactly on the difficulty curve of the original game. If you think the difficulty of the endgame in Elden Ring was too much it's probably not for you, if you are interested in the natural progression of that you should pick it up. It still has all the ways to make the game easier (help from friends, spirit ashes, using items, etc.) but now has its own kind of localized levelling system through scadu(pronounced shadow)tree fragments.
I've fought probably 4 major bosses and 5 smaller bosses so far with my 2 other friends and so far we only had to really try again and again with Renalla's badass sister. The new weapons are also COOL AS HELL.
Thank you, sounds like I can probably skip in that case! I actually never even finished the main game because the PvE was not particularly to my taste, I just try to come up with silly gimmick invader builds. I’ll read about these weapons and see if I can find something sufficiently absurd and nonmeta to be fun for those purposes.
Also I am gonna look up renalla’s sister’s cutscene and fight because renalla is my favorite character
Yeah if bosses like Maliketh, Malenia, and Radabeast weren't fun for you I'd probably avoid it. Her name is Rellana the Twin Moon Knight if you want to see her fight. You can get her swords too, they're so cool but my faith build can't use their quality scaling effectively. 😭
