Scheduling lunch with a guy I met last week and slowly realizing he’s literally rich
-lives downtown
-“I have board meetings in the morning but I’m free after that”
-“we can meet at my friend’s sushi restaurant downtown”
-“Can we switch to Thursday, I need to go to Big Bear on Wednesday because ONE OF MY PROPERTIES IS HAVING SOME ISSUES”

Bro keeps heart reacting my texts and sent me a Pokémon romhack he did so if I play my cards right I might be able to divorce him and take half of his stuff

He seems very nice and reasonably fun but a bit awkward, he’s a nerdy but well-kempt British man and he got extremely excited and asked for my phone number when I mentioned I liked doing nuzlockes. Also seems like a big weeb but I don’t know which subtype which is important

Big Bear is a very popular resort town in California, it is one of the biggest skiing attractions in the state and people also vacation there in the summer for the lake

oh excellent it sounds like it wouldn't be unpleasant to swindle him at all. he definitely sounds Very Well Off tbh. i think it's also kind of impossible to not be a little awkward if you've grown up with nerdy interests. you should ask him what kind of anime he likes if you haven't already so you can get a better idea of that

I had such a hard time making friends in my early 20s but it got a lot easier over the past couple of years. Turns out just being chill and open about what you actually like is more endearing to people than trying to triangulate what they will approve of and pretending to be that lmao
