I really enjoyed slogging through Romance of the Three Kingdoms last year and before I move on to the other big Chinese novels (Water Margin is next probably) I’d like to read some national epics from other countries, does anyone have recommendations? I’ve already read a lot of euro ones so stuff from Asia, Africa, Latin America preferred, but if you have something from Europe I may not have heard of please do recommend! The older the better!
