Near Dark is probably the best vampire movie out there about turning somebody straight by injecting him with his straight dad’s blood

There's about five different ways I can respond to this and I don't know if any of them are good. But. I will say that's a VERY specific movie that certainly chose to do a thing. -kui
I still remember how much of a record scratch moment that was the first time I saw it lmao. I gotta know if that was in the original script or not, because it’s just such a bizarre plot beat that just completely sucks the momentum out of the film (the climactic scenes are good enough that it kinda recovers but it’s still just so odd)
