Someone pointed this out elsewhere, maybe Reddit, and now I can't get it out of my head. When we were kids, we ate ice cream pushed out of a toilet paper tube. We didn't just eat it, we liked it, had fond memories of it. Kids just have no standards at all. Might as well wrap the ice cream in a Maxi-pad.

Push-Ups! They really made sure all the melted juices got all over your fingers.
There were a lot of questionable products back then.
Chocolate Cigarettes wrapped in paper that most kids didn’t remove before eating them.
Rock hard “Bubble Gum” that came with baseball cards.
Atomic Sour Balls that got removed from the market because they were damaging kid’s mouths.
Truly a wild time.
