As an American, Byron just doesn't get this whole "Spectrum" thing. (That makes two of us.)
It's funny how most of the computers of the early 1980s had rainbow logos, which had nothing to do with the LGBT+ movement but everything to do with the fact that the computers in question could actually display colors. In the 1970s, the lion's share of home computers could only display in monochrome. The Macintosh didn't even get a color display until 1987.
These days, if a dumbass like Majorly Tiny Braine saw a rainbow logo on a computer, she'd probably complain that it was "woke" or something.
