I've chosen to double the amount I am paying to cohost plus to $10 a month rather than $5. Compared to other social media sites, I've had more people engage with my work and posts on here compared to twitter where I have over 400 followers vs under 100 here.
I've met some great people and engaged with some well written posts you simply don't get on other social media platforms. Losing this site would be a huge loss for me and I am sure as heck not going to tumblr. Twitter and Bluesky just suck and I only use them because everyone else is there.
If anyone is in a good place right now, I ask that y'all give a bit more to help the hardworking people keeping this place together. I really don't want it to go away.
