i do delivery, it is hell driving at night. and when it was slowly getting darker and darker, it was even worse. i started getting headaches because of how bad all these LEDs were and i had to leave work a few times.

The purpose of artificial light is to make it easier to see, and it seems like that got forgotten at some point

it's baffling to me that regulations for the brightness, height and angle of headlights aren't being updated to deal with these things

This is a massive issue on every new cars that has matrix LED headlights. My understanding is it's up so high because various driving assist modes need them to function. There is generally a brightness control setting they can use to turn it down but a lot of people don't know it exists, and some cars reset it every time you restart the car. I think it's only a matter of time before there's legislation about it in the EU at least.
