Late last night I got an idea for a new scene to write into Cosmos. Today I wrote it; 1300 words, and I feel really confident that it's some of the best writing I've done. I'm really, really happy with how it's turned out!
It's amazing, because it's been a year since I finished the first draft of Cosmos. I was proud of finishing it then; a novel length work, and I'd never really sat down and written anything close to that long before! But there were parts of it that over time, just weren't sitting right with me. Within the last few months I've gone back to it, editing it, changing parts, adding on to others, and I feel like I've made a much better realized world with more fleshed out characters. I'm so excited to show it to more people! And so excited to put this writing into visual novel form!
