oh! i had a weird dream... I'll have to try and write it down when i. wake up again, but. i was living in a...colony? it was like in a ship underground where these awful fire birds lived and elders of the community knew how to keep them from attacking us mostly (probably by sacrifice) but we had to stay underground with the birds because out in the world were actual dragons who the elders didn't have under control. but someone from a ~school of magic~ (i know i know) discovered us and got inside and took me away to learn magic and as soon as i got outside i discovered that all of the dragons had been dead for years, their skeletons were lying around. i wanted to go back in and tell everyone it was safe to come out but my recruiter was like "nope sorry prime directive, gotta let these people discover this shit on their own and btw you can never talk to your family again"
