i had a body horror dream. i genuinely do not know how to describe what happened. people were infected with these... well it was an infection that made your body parts rapidly grow longer? but the part that grew wasn't skin and bone but some kind of orange substance that just burst out between different joints to extend them. i ended up with several extra fingers among other things, it was disturbing and gross. in the dream, i was some kind of superhero tasked with helping the afflicted but i kept being afflicted without noticing right away. people kept shrinking away from me and I'm like "what? oh SHIT i have seventeen fingers and a lot of other extra bulk don't i." cool showers seemed to help
and on the plus side, my ex wasn't there!
