i feel you. im not taking part in any kind of consumer action but i have more or less decided that the switch and the PS4 are my last consoles because so much of modern corporate output drives me up a fucking wall in one way or another, like the nft thing. whenever they die or stop being supported, im done
i respect that. as a PS5-haver I'm super frustrated by how little reason there is to actually own that console 😵💫
and like, for most examples of "shitty companies" here (excepting WB and the Transphobe Wizard Game), the shitty thing isn't shitty enough for me to fault anybody for buying a video game, y'know? if that's how you get joy in this dark dark world, then please prioritize joy.
I think I wrote this more to refute the idea that I'm doing harm than as a call to action but I'm glad it's resonating with folks 
if i still need video games in my life people who arent shackled to this bullshit make games AND emulators so!
even so you cant imagine my sigh of relief when i heard ac6 was targeting ps4 lol
there's no moral obligation for you to buy anything.
This is always true for all industries. Consumption is never activism
