Regular engagement w/ social media has been worn out of me from when I was on Instagram, but I really like what cohost has going on and I want to find my space on here. So! In the spirit of that, here's a bit about me:
- I am bisexual and genderqueer, and I use any pronouns
- I have adhd and autism, and have only recently began working to understand how they impact my life and how to live with them
- I am studying environmental policy and sociology. not sure where I want to go with it, but the relationship between the environment and human/community wellbeing is a central component of it
- I am a huge TTRPG nerd, I love exploring all the different ways people have created these storytelling systems. Some of my favorite works in this space are the Wanderhome system, and the Campaign: Skyjacks podcast
- also got really into Magic: the Gathering in the last year and its like crack for me, I run an upgraded Riveteers precon in paper and a whole lot of stuff on Arena
- I love music, and am very interested in the music scene on this platform. My favorite band is The Decemberists, and I've recently been getting into the works of Phil Ochs and Carly Rae Jepsen.
- beyond my persistent interests in tabletop and Magic, my interests jump all over the place. Right now I'm exploring Super Sentai (the show that Power Rangers Americanizes) and the wider world of Tokusatsu media (including the early Godzilla films)
I have no idea what I want to make of this page, it will likely just be a place for me to ramble about whatever has caught my interest.
I do not dream about the future.
I dread the thought of it.
this piece was made as a means to come to terms with my uncertainties concerning my future. anti-trans legislature and working through a recession haven't left me with the highest hopes for what's to come. I find myself holding on to small moments of joy, and I cherish the time I have with those that I love.

you'll probably remember that the last financial update was fairly dire. this wasn't hyperbole; we were in an extremely tenuous position at the time.
fortunately, it turns out being honest about the issues you're facing is a good way to get help with those issues. since the last financial update, we've seen a huge bump in subscriber numbers, short-term revenue, and MRR. this has been huge for us! we are no longer in the position we were.
it's important to note, though, that it is not all from the financial update. while we got a big bump after that was published, it tapered off fairly quickly. our most sustainable growth has come from the large wave of new and returning users we gained from twitter's most recent Bad Decision. we're happy you're all here! thanks for using cohost.
