I just switched to firefox to see if it was worth switching from opera gx (honestly the only reason I haven't switched yet is bc I really really like the custom browser sounds) and apparently opera gx keeps forcing a bunch of random sites into dark mode!? I thought it was only google docs for some reason- I never realized it was also doing it to cohost x)

so there's a browser setting somewhere in basically every major browser for "prefers-which-mode"
that setting can be set to "match system" "light" or "dark". firefox has it in the settings menu if you search for "dark mode" it'll bring up the Window Appearance section
sounds like opera gx calls it "force dark pages" by default. oh how they've fallen since the days of presto. :(
