ee! sorry this took me a bit to get to ^^'
- MLP:FiM, because the colors, cuteness, characters, stories, world, music- there is no other media I'm quicker to go to when I need positivity. It teaches good lessons, has genuinely relatable characters, and gives me hope that life can always get better.
- Steven Universe, because, well I'm not certain if it deserves this spot ^^' but I've been thinking about it lately and, I think it helped me better understand emotions and painful situations that mlp wasn't quite able to reach as a kid. Also the music goes hard.
- PaSwG (18+), because, with such a simple art style and characters, they're able to make incredibly fun and creative scenarios :3 it genuinely inspires me to be less perfectionistic and make stuff just for the fun of it.
honorable mentions:
- I absolutely adore JoJo's bizarre adventure but my favorites are part 7, 8, and 9, and those are the only ones that aren't animated yet. Part 5 is my favorite of the original universe tho
- Rainbow Dash Presents / the Mentally Advanced Series is a parody satire thingy of mlp, and it is my favorite thing in the entire world x) it genuinely changed my life just as much as mlp itself, and might've helped me out of even more dark times.
