versus hating posting consistently on social media and hating the rat race
on that note please always feel free to ask, interact, comment! Be it art, robot heroes related, or not.

i read this like five times and kept wanting to say "i don't hate posting consistently :3" then i remembered i haven't posted about my creative projects in over a month x)

i share much of the same feelings tho- i would love more than anything to have people actually discuss my works and ideas, but getting it out there and developing it is hard during school and the "rat race of life"

maybe this rebug can getcha some fans :3 it's amazingly easy to make friends and get followers on this site as long as you're willing to send asks & make comments & rebug & participate in the community ^^

Heck yeah !! Thank you for passing by ☺️
It's not do much that I hate posting consistently but more the incentive to constantly produce content to not be forgotten and to create any momentum. That just doesn't feel... human to do especially if you have other hobbies and things to do.
I guess I might be fearful too ? I'm afraid of "being annoying" if I get my thing out there or even rebug/rechost things I like. I'm afraid people will just dip when their feed / timeline / whatever is flooded with things I found cool and that have no link with what I create 😭 also a reason I'm considering toning down the random thoughts posts
But yeah, rambling a lot about how I feel. I wonder if you or anyone there ever felt the same...

in our ✨ capitalist world✨ i think your experience is very common,

creatives / creators often only post the good stuff, and big sites like youtube require creators to post frequently to keep up. but, we're lucky, because cohost isn't like that :3 it does take time to un-train, you can kinda see my transition if you scroll back through my posts x) but it's very worth it

i promise people won't care if you just post what you want & be yourself. if you're worried about people unfollowing, you could always tag your posts with stuff like "random" and "[project name]" so people who only want to follow you for one thing can block the other tag. that's what i did for nsfw ^^

also! i encourage you to observe other creators that you like, or see as successful. cohost's hthrflwrs for example, makes a mix of random and project updates, but their stuff continues to get good traction. one of my favorite youtubers, ceave, disappeared for two whole years, until recently reappearing with a new channel and totally new topics, and people still love it ^^

just do what you wanna do, and have faith in people. be sensible enough to not spam post five memes in ten minutes (unless you wanna x) but give yourself the freedom to gush about awesome stuff. you matter ^^
