If you haven't seen it before, Primitive Technology on YouTube is amazing. This guy's hobby is trying to recreate primitive survival and development via his own research and practical testing. Spawned a whole genre of YouTube creators (most of whom fake it), but he's still going strong. Currently he's trying to figure out how to reach the iron age. Make sure to turn on the closed captions if you do check it out - he explains what he's doing there, as the actual videos are just him quietly working.
