I’m moving part of twitter.com/Profpatsch over to cohost.
As an experiment I’ll try to keep this page mostly focused on tech stuff / my own content, instead of the retweet-fest that is my twitter account.
I have a lot of other interests as well of course, but when I figure I want to express them more on cohost, I’ll put them in a different site. For example, my regular music-posting is gonna go to cohost.org/Profpatsch-music.
Maybe I’ll make a third site for shitposting/retweeting random things.
What you can expect here
- Short programming thoughts (but longer than on twitter)
- Medium-length posts about stuff I’m working on or thinking about, which I might or might not mirror to my blog at one point
- Maybe some tutorial content for Haskle, Nix, whatever
What I’m trying to leave behind (bad twitter habits)
- Hot takes: I think they are not valuable and not fit to start a good discussion
- Negativeposting: There’s too much negativity (esp. about tech) in my brain, posting it just reinforces that and destroys my and other people’s fun
