Commonplace released exactly one year ago to the day. Isn't that weird? I've said it before but this was my first time both writing and directing a game, so it's been wonderful having the game be received so warmly. Thank you to everyone who has played and shared their thoughts, and to anyone who hasn't played yet: now's the perfect time!!

To celebrate the anniversary, @ricecream (who also drew this anniversary illustration, of course) and myself are opening asks for anyone to share their memories and thoughts about the game, or questions about development and our involvement. Please feel free to reach out and celebrate this special day with us!

Wow! Commonplace is now as old as the amount of time it took to make. We're not doing anything special to celebrate this year, but it'd mean a lot if anyone who hasn't played yet would give it a shot. My buddies and I have finally put together a website for the games we develop! We're showcasing @ricecream's excellent artwork and concept sketches, all the music I've ever produced for our projects, downloads for the games themselves, and we plan to update the website with behind-the-scenes development blog posts.
