Gate of the Rose
statues are embedded in the stone of the three towers, sometimes shifting in expression, rarely in pose: the bashful rabbit maiden, the two-faced spire, the prisoner king. the fortified town serves as a monastery, military base, and monitoring outpost of the Respublica Sylvia, watching for omens. the rose has always been wilted, as far back as anyone can remember.
