Almost a year ago (December 23rd, 2022), inspired by this video by Daryl Talks Games (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkgAlnDIPMU) I took stock of my various game libraries, and realized my backlog has simply spiraled deeply out of control.
There are a ton of games that I am deeply curious about, games that I want to play, in my library that I have just... never opened. Feeling some mixture of shame and hubris, I organized my entire backlog, and got to work on clearing it. Since then, I've finished 34 games (and dropped a handful of others) from my backlog, and I kinda wanna talk about them and my experience with this long and deeply inconsequential quest that has no clear finish line, so I'm gonna just start doing that.
