I'm Frankie, I play TTRPGs too much. I will be reblogging and/or posting a lot of furry arte and some of that's going to be kink stuff so heads up

the problem with playing tabletop games online is that the guy with the really annoying joke character can't see everyone not laughing when he does the same goof the 30th time

really though I'm gonna like, politely bail on this game, two of the other players are not really getting along and one is a murder hobo and the other barely talks, and the other is downright annoying since he takes any chance to have his character "misunderstand" something and say something offensive to other characters and is fully half of all of the talking happening.
also playing the only character who's taking events in front of them seriously and trying to resolve them instead of making jokes is exhausting

I can never find a nice way to go "Hey, sorry, I won't be there for the game next week, or ever, since the group dynamics are rancid. have fun though!"

oh yeah I quit that game and the GM just cancelled it there and then rather than look for another player, oops

I have this exact same problem with every game I join. I don't mind a light-hearted character. I don't mind jokes! But there's always that player who makes an entirely un-serious joke character.
