I think it's funny that a lot of the tallest mountains in the world have fancy names either from mountaineers or from the locals and then K2 is just called K2 since no one came up with a better name because there is no locals and almost no one goes there because it'll probably kill you and it's only the second highest mountain in the world
like if you want bragging rights you go to Everest and pay other people to do 95% of the work because tourism is fucked and if you want a challenging climb for a serious mountaineer you go somewhere that won't fucking kill you
