before cohost was available to the public we were throwing around alternatives for the typical social media verbs like "mute" and "block" to see if we liked any of them, I opened up a thesaurus and jokingly suggested "abjure" which was rejected as, and I quote, "too homestuck"
For the briefest second I misread this as "before homestuck was available to the public" and wondered what timeline I was in
