objectivism is such an annoying ass ideology, "Yeah, I base my belief that the most moral thing I can do is be selfish and hedonistic, I arrived at this conclusion with objective observation and pure rationality. I learned this from reading a fiction novel."

by objective observation and rationality I mean that I will answer all questions with "Well of course it works that way, it's obvious." and all disagreement with implying you know I'm right but are lying because you're a freeloader or fascist. You see if you actually lived in the real world like me and actually had thoughts you'd already agree.

"Nice argument, unfortunately I had already decided you are too dumb to have a point worth listening to and wrote you into my novel as being lazy and incompetent next to my extremely rational and atheistic messiah figure character." - Ayn Rand

I love this stuff because it leads people to think:
I'm being a capitalist realist (posts Kickin Rad Nhilism Meme) we dont have to worry about eco-fascism (posts Kickin Rad Nhilism Meme) just vote though, because it's the only way to do politics.

I've tried to read Atlas Shrugged twice. Both times didn't get very far before my eyeballs rolled so hard they threatened to shoot out of the back of my head.

I believe that if American kids weren't forced to read this shit in school, nobody would give a fuck about this mediocre writer and her weird ass cult (as is already the case in the rest of the world)

At least that's my understanding, though I'm not from the US.
Point in case tho, I had never heard of Ayn Rand or Objectivism before my early/mid 20s when I started interacting with Americans online a lot

from wiki:

Each year, the Ayn Rand Institute donates 400,000 copies of works by Rand, including Atlas Shrugged, to high school students.

Rand's works, most commonly Anthem or The Fountainhead, are sometimes assigned as secondary school reading.[268] Since 2002, the Ayn Rand Institute has provided free copies of Rand's novels to teachers who promise to include the books in their curriculum.[269] The Institute had distributed 4.5 million copies in the U.S. and Canada by the end of 2020.[249] In 2017, Rand was added to the required reading list for the A Level Politics exam in the United Kingdom.

The irony that they have give this shit away for free.
