I feel this is a good time to mention that 'they' said the same thing about my generation. We were 'slackers.' We weren't interested in the status quo, or making the same mistakes our parents did. We were going to save the world, or feed it or put hands across it or something. Nothing actually changes except people's perspectives. It's hilarious to see my generation un-self-consciously repeat the same horseshit. But I went to school with these people, and they were always assholes.
