my only useful tip if you're doing stuff with CSS on here is if your text is supposed to be black/white you gotta specify that because if you let it default to it because you use light/dark mode it'll be inverted for people with the other setting

a quick trick: this css color always matches the text color:
hsl(0 0% calc(var(--tw-border-opacity, 0) * 100%));
and this always matches the background:
hsl(0 0% calc((1 - var(--tw-border-opacity, 0)) * 100%));
