I think more zombie media needs to take the RE3/RE Outbreak/Dead Rising 2 route and have the outbreak get successfully quarantined rather than dramatically destroy the whole world and have a panning shot past the statue of liberty, and the survivors in there are having to deal with the fact that trying to walk out will get them shot and that the whole area is going to be incinerated with bombs/nukes in hours/days.
the end of the world is overhyped, there's hope and tension in the possibility of getting out but having the outside world ready to defend itself from the risk you pose

I haven't, I get motion sick easily and I heard it had a lot of shaky "first person" scenes in it
