You used to be able to just make up a sport and everyone else didn't really have anything better to do but play it too. as a big TTRPG nerd I think we should go back to this
carvin' and whittlin'. Doodlin' and scribblin'.
It's why there's so many figurines made out of wood 'n stone 'n ivory, why you see 10,000-year-old phalliforms and "Kilroy Was Here"s etched into rock faces and temple walls and building edifices at all points throughout the Holocene.
We're always lookin' for something else to do when the powers-that-be aren't making us do other stuff for them.
