New twitter logo is annoying me so maybe it's time to leave it for good. If I don't look at it I can pretend everyone else moved on.
I think the thing that's making it so hard for me to find my footing anywhere else on the internet is that the thing I'm engaged the most in right now - vtuber, but more specifically, vtuber and vr tech development and small indie vtubers - seem to refuse to move from Twitter. I like looking at drawings but I rarely draw anymore, so I'm just a looker at platforms for artists. I like writing but my brain has been really bad for years now and I can rarely put my thoughts down, so I end up quiet in long form platforms. And I have very long spells of low social energy so Discord is just a nightmare for me aside from being a lurker.
I poked around misskey and maybe I like the concept of federated platforms after all. At least I'm now in peace that I can wait for bsky to become federated and follow my friends who fled there from somewhere else instead of joining it
