I do understand a reticence towards making a new account somewhere, to be honest... it takes a lot of mental energy for me to create an account somewhere, and I have the benefit of having nothing on the line really. I do not understand how it could take anyone more mental energy than putting up with twitter though... But yeah, sometimes the best thing is to just do something else besides trying to give someone the mental energy to try something new, and Sonic Adventure 2 is a pretty good other thing to do.
yeah its never fun when you're forced to migrate to a new platform and you're trying to figure out what its all about when you never wanted to move in the first place

EDIT: i guess what i mean is like, by having a negative mindset from the start ("this is never going to take off", "its so confusing", etc) you're only turning a bad situation into a worse one
(and also i was already pushing people to spread out and make more accounts months before this exactly because of what is happening now. making an account on your own time is a lot less stressful than making an account when the ship is actively sinking and everyone is panicking)
