Hmm, I don't know... One of my old dogs used to sit on a couch with his rear legs on the couch and front legs on the floor, and he did it often enough that I have to assume it was comfy... I think this seat could allow for at least that position.
hmmmm.. i can see it, but it wouldn't make optimal usage of this seat's configuration! back support completely useless for starters!
