Do I know anyone who knows Jerry Martin, composer for many of the Maxis Sim* games among many others? And if so, would they be willing to ask him a question?
You see, I've been listening to all of the music from the Maxis Sim* games and right now I'm on SimCopter. This game has an excellent soundtrack which is unfortunately at such a low bit rate that it kind of sounds bad. And these songs are mostly recorded live in a studio afaict, specifically the Jazz songs.
So I want to see if there's any still extant files that are less compressed than the ones that came on the CD.
So if you know Jerry Martin, or know someone who does, can you ask him if he has those files from SimCopter still? I emailed him but haven't heard back (unsurprisingly) so I'm wondering if I have any ins outside of an email address on his website.
Feel free to rechost this. I'm not expecting any bites, but it's a small world so who knows?
