Keith Gill (Roaring Kitty, /u/DeepFuckingValue) vanishes for three years, then shows up with call options on GameStop that make him significant money if the stock is worth more than 20 dollars ten days from now. He does a livestream on YouTube to talk about how he still believes in the stock, knowing the last time he did this, an army of retail traders, on his advice, drove the stock to hundreds of dollars per share. Just him posting on Twitter at all made the stock almost quadruple.
How is this not market manipulation?
