well, I found a commit object that seems valid that's at least where I was in the middle of the rebase, so that's like two months of work recovered. now to see if I can find all of the un-rebased patches ... somewhere else. and then figure out how to un-mangle my database

HEAD is pointing to a commit that doesn't exist, and the stgit metadata is also pointing to a different commit object that's empty. so I ... don't know how to ... find the parent of this now empty commit to find the rest of the patches ._.
I don't possess the git skills necessary to do this any smarter but I'm looking at the ctimes for object files and looking for ones created slightly before and just ... looking around
