oh thats really simple! showing an image link as an image is just a standard part of markdown syntax, and you do it by putting a "!" in front of the regular link syntax like so:
this is a link: [woof woof](https://gabu.dog/static/img/pfp_500px.png)
this is a link: woof woof
this is an image: 
this is an image: 
the text you put in between the [] becomes the alt text for when you hover over the image
also protip for the image link itself: make a draft post (here, on cohost) and add the gif to it, and save it as draft. then go to your drafts and open the image and copy the link from there, and use that link in your bio. then you can delete the draft (the image link will remain valid).
you're allowed to do it that way, and you won't have to host your image on imgur or discord and risk the image disappearing that way!
