Fun fact: I reference that Greenland had a previous numeral system than the one used now. wow!!! that’s an OLD shark!!!! I don’t think I’ve ever heard of an animal living this long, plants for sure but not critters, that’s such a neat method for figuring out how old she was (is? unsure)
I also like how you compared her age to that of the USA, it’s giving “its power seems inescapable — but then, so did the divine right of kings”
Oh I adore this. I especially like the way you contextualized the shark in various human technologies! I wonder what goes through the minds of these creatures.
