I actually like wearing tights or similar, but yeah they do have their problems. If I'm not too annoying here's some tricks I've figured out:
If you're okay being a bit weird and are wearing a skirt or dress over the tights, you can use short shorts to help keep them in place without them falling down or doing other clothes movement stuff. Also has some bonuses against being upskirted too.
Even cheatier, leggings can look enough like (dense) tights but don't have quite as bad problems with movement or durability if you think you can pull them off with your outfit.
yeah leggings is what i usually go with tbh. i actually have some short shorts though, maybe i should try those again sometime
