I think I managed to fix a bunch of bugs with it, but the important change is that Any # has been changed to On Any; the cards of the suit with that rule active can be placed onto any other card but don't otherwise behave like any number. Hopefully this'll make the game a bit more balanced but without making winning way too unlikely.

That's a good balance change! Also I wanted to ask, (not sure if this is changed in the current version) one time I wasn't paying attention and played a card that was changed (red outline) into one of the top slots and locked myself out of winning- is this intentional? I do know I only have myself to blame for my failure though

Yeah, it's intentional that you can put rules-affected cards in technically wrong slots - I thought it'd at times be a strategically-sensible move and thought that's cool (I've completed the solitaire a couple times by doing that (although admittedly also locked myself out of wins the same way, haha))

This is so hard! I'm stumbling over 3s/8s as they're the same +5 as opposites. If you use the wrong suits for 3/8 in the top slot, you can just be locked out. I ended up in a situation where I would need to apply 2 operations (at least) to cards to make them go on a pile, Like "Baba is Jiji is opposite", I guess it would be too easy if that were possible.

I thought initially that the top slots would change too, but they don't, they're locked outside of the rules?

I find using the stacking qualities (on same & any suit) the hardest to wrap my head around and use. Maybe because one of the sentences doesn't really work: "Baba is on same"? A bit confusing. Also "Baba is any suit" feels like it implies more than just "Baba stacks on any suit".

Those are good points; I wanted to go for Baba Is You like as-short-as-possible words for the rules but admittedly that makes the game more confusing.

Cards already stacked at the top won't be affected by the rule changes, yeah; I hadn't really even considered that earlier!

"Baba Is Jiji Is Opposite" actually works! But due to technical/gameplay limitations you can put max 3 cards on the middle slots.
