in French, he's got a different smartass reply : "Négatif, je suis une mite en pull-over" ("I am a moth with a sweater").
But I love how "pull-over" has become the word for "sweater" in so many (at least 2) non-English languages.
I love it because as a native English speaker, I've never used that word in my life. It's probably a regional thing, but it's just not a word to me.
I heard a Bulgarian sentence with a word in it that is very clearly an English loanword and not Bulgarian, but I had no idea what it means. I literally learned the English word by asking what it means in Bulgarian.
