I don't remember which is the American spelling and which is the British spelling. I don't remember which one Canadian spelling follows. I don't remember if I follow the Canadian spelling

I was pretty angry when I found this out and I bet you are too.

I never knew about Canada though, so I had to look it up.

It's true. I remembered i wanted to post this because I was annoyed at spellcheck trying to make me write 'centre'. I remember reading once that the introduction of computer spellcheck ended up shifting Canadian language such that it was more colourful (i.e., people were putting 'u's in more words)

wait were you not... taught to put 'u's in words or to spell centre that way??? I remember seeing American crayons and being like why are there letters missing. I think this is just furthering my point about cdn spelling being fake

I think centre looks dumb so I refuse to write it (in English. In French it's obviously fine).

I've been here basically all my life but my family is all American (I didn't become a citizen until well into adulthood when I decided to apply myself) so I was around a lot of American selling and also I was a little shit that chose to use a bunch of American spellings on my own. American crayons look weird to me but mostly because they're usually monolingual and I'm used to seeing everything have French as well
