girl on purpose. i make computer things, and also some other stuff with @gaywritinggirl too

also also it feels kinda weird to make tiny posts in here due to how the site is constructed, but i still want to make tiny posts anyway, so... here's what i would've tweeted over the last couple weeks

  • damn i want to play a DRPG so bad right now (because of galleria coming out and a bunch of people talking about it at the moment). and yet they're usually pretty long and i really don't have that much free time right now... hmm. etrian odyssey 5 also looks good though
  • i also suddenly feel like playing elden ring again. and i extremely don't have the time for that but wow, just think about it... greatswords' speed buffed... the dark moon greatsword's tracking improved... and maybe i could even mod it so that lategame areas have sensible enemy stats
  • been learning react for work, and it's actually been pretty fun! as it turns out, all you had to do to make me like html was make it not look like html. though with how bloated big sites are nowadays, the existence of these things is probably still a net negative for the internet
  • oh, today i finally read canon's second-person let's play of zero4 champ doozy-j (free notes on the creation of a toolkit for translating the game included). and oh yeah baby i love learning about a weird and confused game i'd never heard of until now

in reply to @gayanimegirl's post:

I love** the Idea of DRPG even though I have played very few (Etrian and Etrian homages, Refrain, my brain keeps trying to say Mystery Dungeon games*** are DRPGs but they're slightly different), and thinking about it... I wonder if when you don't have a lot of free time, a series like Etrian would be best for DRPGs?

like Etrian is very story-light so it'd probably be easier to put down and pick up over multiple sessions (though IMO it is a game that lends itself to either mental or written notes like "oh, I need to go to that place later and open that chest" or "oh, I need to find a path from A to B")

** I think because I like anime vibes, character creation, and an intense number hell

*** mystery dungeon games are also probably even more pick up and play

oh yeah, i played eo3 over a pretty long time a while back so maybe... the manual map helps with taking notes too, and the EOs are probably shorter than the likes of refrain and galleria as well lol. hmm

this is so real, posting here (same for tumblr rly) feels so much like. this isnt Exactly how it is but it feels like higher expected commitment to every post? need something lower stakes but not run by the worst ideas guy the world could invent tbh
