FUCKING HELL WHY IS IT SO BAD oh my god i'm actually going to fucking die. that episode was an embarrassingly, catastrophically awful adaptation. holy shit. i'm so angry that watayuri of all manga would get such a garbage anime that i can barely form coherent thoughts right now. if this is how it's going to be – with drawings that fail to convey even an ounce of the expressiveness the characters had in the manga in a story about performances and communication , and direction that's mediocre at best while unable to capitalize on the potential presented by the premise – then i'd honestly rather there be no anime at all.
PLEASE read the manga instead. i am begging you. the first two volumes (which i assume are what the anime is going to cover) are already a masterpiece of the genre. it deserved so much better than this. oh my fucking god why.
