R?MJ is SO funny, i really cannot recommend a playthrough of it with friends enough. & ur welcome! had a blast finally clearing bossgame a few nights ago, excited to play whatever you make next

"Watching my friend John grind his way to a 1CC of Espgaluda on stream inspired me to pick this up" this tripped me up because I've been playing Espgaluda non-stop all weekend and was like "wait what" before realizing it was a different john

The swag factor really is off the charts?? It's gorgeous of course, but it's also got a little more storytelling gumption than I'm used to seeing from Cave. Hoping to stepping stone from an Espgaluda clear to Futari and DDP and maybe, finally, someday, Ketsui

The only Cave so far I've cleared is the original Mushihimesama, which I found very smart and gentle while still being exhilarating. Definitely another one to give a look sometime

Stage 4's tricky! I practiced it and also the boss with saves a bunch, then yesterday I managed to get to stage 5 from the start in one credit (with only one life left oops). Stage 5 is shaping up to be pretty epic so I know I've still got a long way to go, havin' a real good time

save states are the way to do it. i've been practicing by trying to learn each segment with no hits (before sub-boss, sub-boss, before boss, boss), then the stage as a whole

I have seen a flash game that was similar to Zelda II, in overall structure. Not nearly as big, and the dungeons were different. I didn't realize it was that way until after the fact, funnily enough. I don't remember what it's called, though.

omg, archipelago sounds amazing and is like..positioned in a nice way relative to tensions on spending time together

also yesss you nailed it about saga frontier

i forgot about little big adventure..i loved that as a kid too
