I've been in talks with some local gamedev community folks recently about my ideas/ambitions for a doujin market event in Austin. Unfortunately, it is something I am unable to commit a ton of my time and energy to (with a full-time job and my own team game development to worry about), but it is something I am extremely passionate about seeing come to fruition. Thankfully there are similar events like Staple that are already understood.
