God's Not Dead is a movie franchise started by Kevin Sorbo of 90s Hercules fame that are basically full movie versions of those entirely fictional christian 'and then everyone clapped' stories about christian oppression people's grandparents are emailing around
oh, gross
i've known about kevin sorbo being trash for some time, didn't know he had a trash film franchise
oh yeah it's like 'and then the christian stands up and the atheist professor said I HATE GOD BECAUSE HE KILLED MY WIFE and and then the atheist professor runs out into traffic and dies'
lololol i wouldn't be able to watch it but that would be hilarious if it weren't played straight
there's room here for a version played for obvious laughs that that audience would still think is played straight
In the first film, a college freshman named Josh Wheaton (Shane Harper, who returns as a campus minister in the new film) intellectually conquers his caustically atheistic philosophy professor in three classroom rounds of debates about the existence of God. The professor gets hit by a car at the end and dies, but not before he becomes a Christian.
holy shit lmao i thought you were exaggerating. you actually played it down......
