i dunno if it really counts as one such to be honest. as someone who reads a LOT of actual power fantasy shit, ORV is pretty consistently balanced against the protagonist, only letting him win through luck or sheer hard work. plus its actually phenomenally well written and has deeper metatextual and philosophical implications and shit which already places it many levels above most of its contemporaries in my opinion, since thats really REALLY uncommon in the realm of LitRPG stories. though i do forget that it doesnt make those implications particularly clear until approaching the very end so i guess its fair to say it presents itself as more superficial than it actually is for most of the story...
