Gonna write my thoughts about some Steam Next Fest demos I played here!
Phantom Brigade
Genre: Mecha Turn-Based Strategy
Phantom Brigade has an interesting concept: You get to plan your moves ahead for the next 5 seconds of "real time", and you can also see which moves the enemy is going to make and react to them. In practice, it felt a little bit too clunky UI-wise (not enough information about the enemy actions or the damage an attack would do) for me to have fun with it, but I think this'll be fun for people that like to micro manage, you can probably pull off some sick strategies - without crashing your mechs into each other like I did.
