Roots Of Yggdrasil
Genre: Norse-Themed Roguelike Building Sim
Ragnarök has happened, the world has been destroyed, now it's time to rebuild. From the hub world you go out on randomly generated maps with the objective of bringing back Yggdrasil-Roots (which means fulfilling a random objective like building certain things in its reach). The maps themselves have an interesting boardgame-esque loop where buildings get more expensive the more you build them, but you also want to build / fit as many as possible together since the advanced buildings require a certain amount / get stronger from existing buildings.
The game is still in an early state (the demo is marked as Alpha) and thus, a lot of features are locked and the difficulty is pretty harsh, but I feel like there might be something here!
